Products & Services

Public and Products Liability

In this fast-paced world, the only constant thing is change. Today’s businesses are exposed to an ever-growing list of legal liabilities. Whatever the size and shape of your business, you have a duty of care to protect your customers and business partners from harm. Public Liability insurance is your protection if you are found to be legally responsible for personal injury to a third party or damage to their property.

Business Insurance

When running a business, an important thing to consider is having adequate general insurance. Being covered will reduce your chances of facing financial uncertainty, protect your livelihood and that of your workforce.

It gives you peace of mind knowing you have invaluable protection against a range of risks including equipment, assets, and legal liability coverage. Insurance companies provide a wide variety of general business insurance policies, so it is essential to get the right one for your needs.

Cyber Insurance

As more and more transactions are being done online, a lot of malevolent characters are also drawn to the lure of disrupting the digital space. In Australia, our Federal Privacy Act gave rise to the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme (NDB) which impacts all organisations covered by the Australian Privacy Act of 1988.

This means that every data breach that your company may experience will cost you a lot! The costs may be due to business interruption, reputational damage, incident response, to legal costs. The fines are also another thing to worry about—it may cost you $360,000 for individuals and $1,800,000 for organisations.

For your protection against these huge and unexpected costs, we have a wide range of cyber insurance products that can be further customised depending on your requirements.

Professional Indemnity

No one in this world can give you 100% certainty for any outcome. If you give advice or provide professional services, then you open yourself and your business to possible lawsuits if the advice was done with gross or simple negligence.

The good news is that with our Professional Indemnity Insurance, you will have something to protect your business against an allegation of wrongful advice, defamation, infringement of intellectual property, and/or professional negligence.

It covers the cost of your legal defence and the damages you may have to pay. The insurer will engage a legal adviser to manage the matter on your behalf so you don’t have to suffer sleepless nights when this happens.

Management Liability Insurance /
Directors & Officers

For business owners and those holding directorship positions, there are times when you’re held accountable for acts involving the companies you represent. Aside from the mental and emotional stress this brings, you and your family’s finances might also be affected.

With our Management Liability Insurance, we cover indemnity for resulting damages, work health and safety defence costs, statutory/pecuniary fines and penalties and legal fees. The policy also covers a wide range of employee-related claims such as unfair dismissal, sexual harassment, bullying, and racial discrimination.

Business Interruption

There are only a handful of businesses with the financial capacity to stand up right away just after suffering a disaster. Resuming your business as quickly as possible after a disaster is challenging but with our business interruption insurance, you will have the tool available to help you maintain your company’s financial position in difficult circumstances.

Association Liability

Being in the non-profit space does not exempt you from liabilities arising from the services and management the association offers. With our Association Liability policy, we designed a package suited for not-for-profit organisations. The policy has a mix of management liability and professional indemnity insurance elements designed to cover damages and legal costs that may arise from allegations of misconduct, wrongful acts, breach of professional duty, employee related issues and fraud resulting in a financial loss.

I’ve just been through a full review of all insurances and my broking arrangements, which has proven to be well overdue. I had Cameron Taylor recommended to me by a close business associate so I “gave Cameron a go at it” along with three other brokers.

Cutting a long story short Cameron won the day with better service, better advice, better costs, better transparency of fees and a big saving overall. If you’re looking for really good engagement and good insurance arrangements for yourself or any of your customers Cameron could well be the answer, he has my strong endorsement.

Cameron is responsive and extremely knowledgeable; sharing insurance and related business recommendations that have helped protect our business, save us money and allow us to sleep better at night
